Consolidated Big Valley Resources Inc. (“CBG.H”) is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew A.B. Tims, P.Geo of Thunder Bay, Ontario to its Board of Directors, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Tims will assist in the strategic planning and growth of the Company’s exploration properties and programs.

Mr. Tims is a Professional Geologist with over 15 years of experience in the mining industry. He has a strong background in management of exploration programs and property evaluations. Mr. Tims graduated from the Carleton University in Ottawa in 1989 with a degree in geology, following which he worked with Falconbridge Mines in Sudbury as a field geologist.

He then worked throughout eastern Canada on gold and base metal projects in increasingly senior management positions with BHP Minerals, Minnova Inc. and Lac Minerals. From 1995 to 1996, he worked on a number of projects in the Hemlo and Shebandowan greenstone belts for Battle Mountain Canada/Hemlo Gold Mines. From 1997 to 1998, as Project Geologist, he executed the exploration program for Cyprus Canada in the Geraldton Gold Camp Belt. Since 1998, Mr. Tims has been an independent consultant for numerous mineral exploration companies carrying out precious metal, base metal and diamond exploration programs throughout eastern Canada.

Mr. Tims is currently Exploration Manager for Grandcru Resources Inc. based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He is a practicing member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, a Past-President of the Porcupine Prospectors & Developers Association and a former Director of the Ontario Prospectors Association.

Mr. Tims will be a tremendous asset to the Board of Directors and will assist in the evaluation of current and future property acquisitions and the review of upcoming exploration programs.
