ADDITIONAL SAMPLING RESULTS, ORE EXTRACTION COMMENCES AT RUSSIAN KID GOLD MINE AND GRANADA MILL COMMISSIONED

Consolidated Big Valley Resources Inc. is updating shareholders on the progress at the Russian Kid gold mine in Dasserat Township and the Granada Mill, Quebec.

Rocmec Mining Inc. (“RMI”) has released additional underground sampling results and completion of the dewatering of the second level (300 feet) at the Russian Kid project.
Rocmec continued underground sampling of the mineralized veins available on the first level (150 feet). Sampling was conducted on sections measuring 10 feet in length in a longitudinal manner, meaning in the same direction as the mineralized structures. In order to verify the presence of high-grade corridors, the McDowell vein was sampled in two parts, the length of the hangingwall and the length of the footwall. Considering that average thickness cannot be attributed to the samples they must be considered as grab samples. Of significant importance is the fact that low grades were also found outside of the mineralized corridors.

The following tables illustrate the results of underground sampling conducted within and outside of the mineralized corridors of the McDowell vein:

Access to second level

With the dewatering of the second level (300 feet) completed and the ventilation system operational, Rocmec's personnel will proceed with underground sampling of the second level. Air, electricity and water services are completely installed on the 150-foot level and thermal fragmentation on a first block measuring in excess of 30 metres.

Thermal Fragmentation

Rocmec has commenced thermal fragmentation on the first level (45 metres) in order to verify the gold grade and determine the best way to maximize the extraction of gold ore from the vein structures. Presently, 915 metres of structural support are being installed on the first level to facilitate ore extraction from defined ore zones.

In addition to the continuing thermal fragmentation on the first level, Rocmec will, over the next few months, prepare the second level (91 metres) for thermal fragmentation.

Thermal fragmentation is a patented mining technology which allows for selective mining of narrow high-grade ore zones reducing dilution by waste rock.

The project has received authorization for the extraction of a 44,000-tonne bulk sample from the property.
The Russian Kid gold mine property has a drill defined gold zone that has been accessed and sampled underground via a 2,700-foot (823-metre) ramp and three levels. A non-National Instrument 43-101 conformable historical resource, which may or may not be reliable, of 1,124,532 tons grading 0.247 ounce per ton gold (277,759 ounces of gold) was calculated in 1984 by Asselin, Benoit, Boucher, Ducharme, Lapointe Inc.

Granada Mill

The commissioning of the Granada Mill has commenced. Services being power and gas will be connected in the coming weeks. Permits to operate the mill are being amended to being processing the Russian Kid ore.
